Our Story
More than Great Food
The Story of Street Spice started as an idea and passion project back in early 2025. With our determination and dream of one day owning our own little spot where we could serve freshly made real Indian Street Food.Share our passion, love for cooking with others who are equally as passionate but about eating.We started on Deliveroo out of a small kitchen in our Flat, later expanding onto doing a fresh meal box service, think of Hello Fresh but the Indian alternative, provide fresh home made Gujrati & Punjabi meal boxes. To then also covering for events catering helping & wanting to making those special occasions even more special.

Specialising in Indian cuisine, her cooking is rooted in tradition while embracing creativity, bold flavours, and seasonal ingredients.Inspired by home-style recipes, street food culture, and the joy of feeding people well, Smita believes food should be comforting, vibrant, and made with love. Her attention to quality, balance, and presentation defines the Street Spice experience — where every meal tells a story and every guest is treated like family.
